when I didn’t need the attention,
admiration, or validation.”

Wring has been a comfort for her for many years and an escape from small-town life. Her work may include some unique spellings, but her worlds and characters will enrapture your mind so you won’t notice. Against all odds, she completed her undergrad at Stirling, and she is now studying Creative Writing at the Master’s level; she is working on honing her skills to finish a story centered around people-watching, which she started as an undergrad, and eventually develop a fun fantasy young-adult series.

Aubrey Aloi
In 2017, Aubrey Aloi quit her job managing restaurants in Richmond, Virginia and finally tossed in the dishrag. The time she spent in the “real world” helped her rediscover an innate passion for character-driven storytelling. However, it took a quarter-life existential crisis and raw oysters to take that passion seriously. With a focus in both Writing and Filmmaking during her undergrad, Aubrey’s academic aspirations expand to her plan of teaching in higher academia. She is currently aspiring toward a PHD in Creative Writing. Her writing work focuses on dark historical and mythological women’s fiction.

Utku Soyal
Utku is a short fiction writer from Istanbul. He has a bachelor’s degree in English Literature. His writings often focus on trying to make sense of the emotions that are embedded in his subconscious mind. He believes that almost any work of fiction can give context to the vague thoughts that are detached from reality and floating in the void of the mind ever discontentedly. To that extent, he plans to keep on writing until the last restless thought he has finds a new plane of existence in the form of a story.
